I made the mistake of making the mold from the removable panel on the passenger side where the battery is. Still need to do something about the exposed wiring going to it. I made an ABS plate where the OEM amp was, and mounted the mObridge and Bit One side by side in its place. I finally got a mObridge DA1 MOST interface and ran it's optical output to a Bit One processor, which in turn feeds an old Soundstream Reference 705s 5 channel that I've had for years. This setup was OK for a while, but nowhere near done. A couple dabs of hot glue will ensure it doesn't go anywhere. The tweeter fit perfectly in place of the HK tweeter. I had that from my old car and I'll be making a better set soon. I'm not a fan of rear speakers to begin with. I disconnected the center channel and faded everything to the front. Turns out the Morels don't really play nice with the rest of the system, as they aren't as efficient as the OEM speakers, and the volume level was way lower. Within 48 hours of owning the car I swapped out the door components for my Morels.
My main gripe with the HK system is that it started sounding harsh after listening at high volume for extended periods of time.
